QP Online Ltd - LR Engine Rebuilders
Has anyone had any dealings or know much about QP Online Ltd?
They advertise they repair, service and recon LR engines. They seem to have lots of positive feedback, and their Instagram and Facebook pages look interesting.
QP Online trades from:-
Unit 22, Integra ME, Bircholt Rd, Maidstone ME15 9GQ
and is controlled by:-
Mr Markiyan Boruk
He is also a director of LR Technic Limited which trades from:-
9, Rippleside Commercial Estate, Ripple Rd, Barking IG11 0RJ
Neither company seems to have a website.
I haven't heard of either company before.

I have no direct experience of them but they have built a positive reputation (over the last couple of years at least). They are being recommended along with a few other indies (three of which are on this site).
You can get feedback on the Discovery 3 &4 Owners Group on FB if you would like direct customer feedback (And I would class a couple of those happy customers as being knowledgeable....and even more fussy about running a D3/4 and who gets to touch it )MY2008 D3 - It got me hooked...gone
MY2012 D4 - It kept me hooked...gone
MY2007 D3 - Mid-Life crisis toy continues driving me to bankruptcy...
MY2018 "D5" Si6 - But is it a "true" LR...discuss...but now gone
Back in a D4 with a lot of extras....

They are top of the class when it comes to engine rebuild. They have really high tech workshop with all sorts of fancy machines. But they are not cheap - for a reason.
From what you say I assume you have been to their workshops; have you actually used their services?
They don't seem to have a website; do they offer a warranty for their rebuilt engines?
Regards

Haven`t been to their workshop, but I know people who know owner (Ukrainian guy). They do offer warranty. They don`t need website, they have plenty of work without it. They are present on FB, lots of video`s and pictures.

The guy on the other forum i mentioned in my initial post got a quote back for his RRS.
"I did get a reply from them and the price for a refurbished SDV6 engine is £5000+VAT, this comes with 12 months warranty and revised bearings and block so fingers crossed would be better!
Slightly on the higher side compared to other companies but you get what you pay for IMO.
Turbos are an extra £1200+VAT if needed!"

Are they rebuilding the original engines or replacing them with alternatives?
If alternatives always consider where they obtained them from...

What do you mean with "alternative engine" ? They repair existing engines - rebore, put new pistons, bearings etc etc.

Yes but do they repair the engine you bring them or supply a replacement?
If they repair yours relax ..... if they supply a replacement query their source.....

They repair your engine, if that is possible. If not, they buy one from breakers - refurbish it and sell it to you.

To be fair, many businesses now operate without a website when social media does the same work for them. Social media is quicker to update, seen by many in a easier and far more 'referral' style and not much more is needed if the business comes in.
Social media (of which I am a continual struggling user of in a business sense) seems to me to be faster, more responsive and spreads the message like wildfire amongst the relevant communities...
How many times have you bought online direct from social media prompts or feeds? I know that I have many times...

Never - unless you count this site.
