My high-level brake light is no longer a black unit with a red section.
It's a see-through grey coating over a dull pink/red with some lines where the dull-grey layer has been scratched off.
I've read it's a PITA to replace so not going there.
Is there a sensible way of recoating the black ? Can it be wrapped / painted / covered in any way ?.

Hiya
Does sound a good idea of getting it wrapped , often see some of the modified cars where they’ve wrapped their rear lights
