Restricted Performance mode + red triangle |
|
My 2016 53k Disco 4 went in to restricted performance mode on Friday pm, LR Assist (aka the AA ) came out and found a bucket lode of fault codes:
Patrol found the following fault code/s:System : Engine control - 7M9 / Diesel EDC 17CP11.2 Status :P2BAE - NOx overshoot monitoring. Error Message : Malfunction. Historical fault. Status :P00BF - Air-mass meter or air-flow sensor B. Error Message : Malfunction. Error sporadic. Status :P246F - Exhaust gas temperature sensor (bank 1, sensor 4). Error Message : Signal plausibility not OK. Historical fault. Status :P0235 - Turbocharger boost-press. sensor A. Error Message : Improper operation. Error sporadic. Status :P061B - Internal control module torque control. Error Message : Faulty operation. Historical fault. Status :U029E - Communication with Nox sensor B. Error Message : Missing message. Historical fault. Status :U0146 - Communication with gateway A. Error Message : Missing message. Historical fault. Status :P004B - Turbocharger boost pressure control position sensor B. Error Message : Specified position not reached. Historical fault. Status :P259B - Turbocharger boost pressure control position sensor B. Error Message : Component sticking. Historical fault.Member reported oil level warning been coming on over past weeks but when he uses display to check, reading showing on maximum. Also had restricted performance in display today, above 12 fault codes stored. Have checked turbo hoses, connections etc all ok but will require full investigation at garage due to the amount of stored codes. Not cleared codes.
The AA guy said needed to go to main dealer ASAP, which is booked for Monday; he didn't clear the codes, though the Restricted Performance has disappeared. I think I am OK to drive to dealer where there should be a hire car. Does anyone have any idea of the prognosis/fixes likely required? I have plenty of LR Extended Warranty left so more concerned about loss of car than overall cost.
