RAM ball mount for seat runner - using RAM 'T' track fitting

I've been looking at a solution to mount an iPad in the car. A few on here have used RAM/Brodit solutions which I am trying out. To anchor the whole structure my favoured solution was the 'Uncle Ray ball mount bracket' for the front passenger seat runner bracket. This one...

....but Ray no longer has any of these and a shout out on the forum found people with these but not using them. All I seem to have done is alert them to the use of the ball mount so I am still without a 'ball'...

Having looked at the various RAM mounts and what others have done I have settled on using the RAM 1.5" rubber ball T track mount. With the passenger seat back the seat runner edge and the end of the seat movement bolt work well to hold the T track with the rubber ball mount tightening sufficiently from on top.

£18 for the 1.5" RAM T track ball mount and I'm finally up and running.... except that the latest iPad mounts don't seem to fit the latest 12.9 iPad yet!!!!!

Will update once I find/they make one..
