hello all i have gotten hold of a 2011 discovery 4 with a seized engine it is a 3.0 litre what i want to know is can i fit a 2,7 discovery 3 engine to it, because i can get a good one for a cheap price. any information will be appreciated thanks

Physically yes, it will fit. But the control elements (ECUs, fuel system, turbo(s)) are totally different and not a straight swap. Not saying it can't be done, but more hassle than it's worth. Joe

thanks OvalAutos a mechanic mate of mine has suggested pulling the sump off to have a look at what is going on. If any can give me any tips on that, it would be great
