auto gearbox front seal leak
I have a D3 automatic in the workshop with a fair amount of transmission oil leaking out all around the bell housing joint. I assume oil is escaping from the front oil seal on the pump. Is this a common problem, and anything else to consider, such as a blocked breather pipe?Chris

If you take the bottom stone guard cover off and have a look up the drivers side of the box you should be able too see if there's any oil dripping from the breather.
If it's dry up there it's likely the TC seal is shot, unless of course there's been work previously carried out such as overfilling.
