Inlet Manifold query

Good evening all,
I am more or less
at the halfway point of replacing my L/H inlet manifold and have noticed a slight difference with the new manifold.
There is a hose which goes to a fitting around the centre of the manifold.
The original manifold has a tiny hole in the fitting, but the new one is just a blank.
Can I leave it like this, or do I need to drill it out?
Hopefully you can see what I mean in the photos, if I've uploaded them correctly!
Thanks in advance.

New manifolds are blanked

EU6 models have a different breather system, so not required any more

Great, thanks for that.
I'll carry on in the morning.

Thanks again.

So, if the car is not an EU6 model should it not be drilled?
cammers MY2010 won't be an EU6 will it.

I'd say if there is a pipe to connect to it, drill it out.

BUT MAKE SURE YOU GET ALL THE PLASTIC OUT BEFORE YOU FIT TO THE ENGINE.
