I have a couple of issues with the power fold wing mirrors on my '05 HSE, and looking for some advice...
The passenger side has stopped folding (I'm not sure if it has been knocked). Is there anything I should check / try before investing in a new (or second hand) mirror, and how easy is it to replace myself?
The driver's side is getting a bit jerky when folding. I see in the forum's that silicon lubricant and manually moving it might help - so will try that.
The mirrors also seem to return to positions other than those I've set, despite repeated attempts and using different memory buttons. Will replacing the FSM unit (https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-GRID013161) fix this, and if so, how easy it is it?
Thanks. Having looked at the price of a decent spec D4, think I would be better off getting a few of the minor issues on my D3 fixed and enj0ying it for another 70-100,000 miles! Richard
