So.. just to set the record straight.
I know that my parking brake needs adjusting a, it’s just started to squeal.. but, I tried to undo my rear wheel nuts and some are corroded and swollen.
I’ve brought new nuts to replace them all, but I just can’t get them off.
I don’t have enough decent sockets to remove them.
Anyone any ideas?
Dread to think of actually having to change the wheel if I needed to…
Typical example of the easiest job, take a wheel off… 2005 Disco3 HSE Auto 😁

If they are the genuine ones they have a chrome piece covering the nut. I had to chisel the chrome away and the soak the nut and thread in WD40 overnight. I then found that you can get a 21 mm socket on the nut and plenty of leverage will shift it. Make sure wheel is on the ground so that it does not turn.

You can usually bang a 23mm socket on and get them off. Andrew

I have got an impact gun and socket if you want me to try it on them but it’s at your risk etc
Bring new nuts
I’m in Petersfield
Or take it to www.glenrands.co.uk and they’ll sort it for you. Probably easier to do that as I’m hard to pin down Visitor from fullfatrr.com
