Park Brake Problems

Dose anyone know what the black box is infront of the park brake module. Cant find it on any parts diagrams.

I can only think its a locking rear diff?. Take a picture of what you are asking about.

Thankyou for your reply, it wont let me post a picture but it looks related to the heating system. its got 3 hoses coming out of it which go up behind the exhaust and up the C pillar
