Finally got around to doing the headlight mod this afternoon, little bleeders gave me sore fingers splitting them, well worth it though!! Just hope they have sealed back up ok?? 😁

Just the Narpy grille to go!! Very Happy

Me too. The "how to" is perfect. I used the heat gun approach.

What do you think? Photo attached

Thumbs Up

I used the heat gun method too, bit nervous about sticking the light unit in the oven!!
Car looks good, makes such a difference to the front end. Thumbs Up

can i recommend you go for the 92 LED's from HID's. They are BRIGHT and work really well with the full detango. Compared to the chromed bulb there is no comparison.

I went to order these but out of stock for another 4-6 weeks Big Cry

OK 'tried' to this and failed Big Cry

Can't get the lights separated with a hair dryer after hrs of trying so :

1) anyone near south Cumbria can help me this afternoon? (doubt it)
2) anyone have any adaptive xenons already modded they don't want ?
3) send ours to someone to do for us

or give up Big Cry

My only guess on this is your hair dryer is not good enough - ie it doesn't give out enough heat.

If you want to try it again yourself, buy a cheap heat shrink gun. I think people like Machine Mart, Maplin and TLC sell them.

Best regards

Chris
