Washing & polishing in winter time

With salt all over the roads now up this way, what's the best way of keeping the car clean ? Is there any good polishes that can be applied in temperatures of around zero which will allow easier maintenance to keep it clean, or should I just not bother !

i always give mine a good wash then wax it prior to the winter months then just wash it when winter arrives and it always comes up nice because of the previous waxing

I put Meguiar's ultimate polish on mine. Went on well even though it was a cold day. Seals the paint well and makes cleaning much easier.

I personally wouldn't be going using TFR's if you have waxed/sealed your car as it is usually strong and will remove most protections. IMO
