P0405-00 (2f) egr fault, although blanked?

Hi all I've got this fault code come up but my egrs are blanked?
Is it anything to worry about as I've dines few searches and can't seem to find an answer?
Engine TDV6

P0405-00 (2F) Exhaust gas recirculation sensor A - circuit low

If they were blanked due to sticking open etc then you will always have a fault code logged now, as they remain faulty in the eyes of the DTC system, the fact that they are blanked emans you can ignore the fault, as it has been bypassed/ fixed by means other than replacing the EGR valve with a shiny new one.
You'll be woefully reminded of this by every garage that you take the car to as they will want to sell you an EGR to 'fix' the DTC.
In a nutshell, ignore the fault code Thumbs Up
