On my cell so struggling to search. In LA, flat battery yesterday but had left keys in ignition with phone chargers plugged in. Jumped it ok. Thats how my alternator died... I could charge the battery and it would run for a while but eventually it shuts down bit by bit...Mark

Could be either at this stage.
Have you tried boost start with leads again?
if it starts OK with that, but then goes dead when running and youve disconnected them, then its pointing to alternator. Bodsys Brake Bible

too low.
Switch engine off, put the lights on and have the ignition on.
Leave for 5 mins
Start car and if voltage doesnt increase within 1 minute or so, then alt is fubar'd.....Bodsys Brake Bible
