Trailer and equipment is 3.5 tonnes
Car is 2.5 tonnes
So 6 tonnes total
Dandys I am familiar with! Thanks. I’ll call tomorrow and it’s down the road from my yard!
My CPC runs out this month unfortunately and can not get up to date in time.
Maybe able to get away with saying it’s a charity booking if I do get pulled before hand? Or would there be in depth inspections?Disco 3 SE Manual 2005 V6 2.7

Driver CPC is not required for class B, so don't go wasting your time and money, it's only needed for classes C & D.

Dave is quite right, you don't need a CPC
However they can be done online at very short notice, we've put quite a few drivers through CPC during lockdown entirely online.

If you elect to go down the tacho route send me a PM and I'll put you intouch with somebody local.
Budget about a grand I'm afraid by the time its fitted and calibrated.

Thanks and glad I don’t need updating cpc
I do have my Hgv licence and Tacho etc
As for Tacho, to clarify, I don’t need it? Or I do need Tacho but don’t need cpc?Disco 3 SE Manual 2005 V6 2.7

If you want to use your HGV then you need your CPC, just don't need it to use a trailer on your Discovery
Easy options for CPC at the moment is online, we are usin these people-
You do need a tacho and tacho card to use your trailer for commercial usage, not forgetting it will need to be calibrated on install and every two years

On the subject,
Is it legal to use a sticker reg plate for the trailer? Or do I legally have to have a proper reg plate made with the space between the letters?
Currently got one off eBay a yellow sticker imitation. No space between the lettering. Stuck over my previous cars towing plate.
Wondering if I should get one done or if it’s no issueDisco 3 SE Manual 2005 V6 2.7

You can use an adhesive one as long as it meets the BSAU standard and the letters are properly spaced.
But its just as easy to get a proper plate made up.Andrew

When you say properly spaced does that mean the big gap between like usual?
Like FX05 OJW or FX05OJW both ok?Disco 3 SE Manual 2005 V6 2.7
