Yes, I've had two Land Rover products (FFRR and the D3) and so far have spent <2k>£3k so far, with 20 months still to run on this one.

And to cover that with putting a little away you'd have to stash £250 a month away, two and a bit months stash would cover the warranty. Unless, as peeps say, you have a good 'un. Always amazes me that in this day & age and from a so called quality brand that there is anything other than "good 'uns". Rolling Eyes

Well, an update...

Work now done, good service from Lookers all round Thumbs Up
Grumbly bearing and wobbly steering now materially improved Thumbs Up
Cheque received from Warranty Direct Thumbs Up

but

In the time between approving the claim, and the work actually being done, the mileage ticked over 70,000, and the betterment deduction jumps from 20% to 30% of the parts costs. Big Cry

So, the next test is to see how WD react to this; I'll put in an appeal based on what I believe would be fair and reasonable treatment. This is to pay the claim at the rates that was agreed based on the mileage at the time of failure.

Once I hear back from WD, I will update you all again… I bet you can't wait Very Happy
