Warranty Direct Quote.... Your thoughts please?

Gents,

I would very much appreciate your opinions on my Warranty from Warranties Direct.

I have a:

Land Rover Discovery 3 GS
2007
97 000 miles

The Warranty includes:

12 000 miles cover (I will not do that! It’s a weekend car)
Wear and Tear replacements
Parts old for new
No Betterment cost
100% Labour cost
Consequential Damages Cover
Sudden Damage cover

For £634 for the year?

Is this a good deal and is it worth getting?

Is there anything else I can ask them before going ahead? Thumbs Up 2016 D4 Landmark

That quote is almost identical to mine last year, miles on your car also the same. My car failed its mot on a bush and they did pay for its replacement but wouldn't pay for the other one that was an advisory. Think they paid out around £300 ish after xs. I had no problems with them paying out. This year because my car has done over 100k they quoted the same price but would no longer cover suspension which if you look on here http://www.reliabilityindex.com/reliability/search/159 is almost half of all faults so I've decided to bank the money.

You will find various views on here depending on everyone's own experiences with WD but your deal looks about the norm. Thumbs Up Mods:

Had them for past 4 years paid about £2000 and had £5000 back for parts so I'm happy, this will be my last year with them as they only go up to 160k miles but they have been ok, what's your excess mine is £50, also ask them to pay over four instalments interest free you can either do it quarterly on 4 consecutive months Thumbs Up wait till they phone you back too then ask for bit more they sometimes do it Rolling with laughter Goodyear Duratracs
