Water in passenger footwell |
|
OK, so we bought it with what we thought was the leaking sunroof. I don't have time to fix at the moment so I taped it over to stop any further water getting in, or so I thought.
When I first lifted the carpet the loom was sitting in water so I dried out the well the loom sits in and lifted the carpet best I could to start drying out.
Except this morning the well the loom sits in was full of water again it rained overnight here.
Where else do I need to look for water coming in as now the roof is taped over I'm at a loss where else to look as I thought this was the problem.

Drop the glovebox down by pulling hinges to the sides.
See if the pollen filter in the letterbox is wet

Then there is the "A" pillar covers. This has been well and truly covered on here previously.

And then the spot welds on the roof join under the black covers or it could just be a leak in the windscreen bonding Andrew
