Sdv6 is sequential turbo v6 hence 2 turbos, small one first then the the larger kicks in. I guess better take off?

A D4 owner will be along to confirm shortly Thumbs Up

So 2 turbos,

2. What about economy

I wont be towing, mainly for road use.

both engines have twin turbos

Engines are technically identical. Only difference in mapping.

both the same just the mapping.

They charge £1000 extra for this engine.

I rang land rover and they would not tell me.

If Peter is correct, buy the cheaper one, and throw a lot less at Pete Bell (BAS) for his services of a remapped ECU, IIRC now, I think Ent did this and has a little more power than the standard SDV6.

Peters comment is ringing a bell Thumbs Up

Talk to Pete Bell, the remap will be undetectable is my guess, but as its an ECU swap in the D4, it's simple to put back to Standard, I think Buelbeast had his done, and reverted to a standard ECU when he chopped it in for his 110 Thumbs Up

Does the TDV6 have the 8 speed gearbox or just the 6 speed?

The 8 speed

I think the difference is mainly for fuel and company tax reasons

Sdv and tdv on d4

I seem to notice just by looking at a few that the tdv has a full gear stick, were as the sdv seems to have the depressable button is this correct? Also I have a d3 and would like to have it remapped for fuel economy is it possible and where should I go?
Thanks
