Wheel alignment woes

Took my disco in for wheel alignment and they had trouble with it saying one side at front was at maximum adjustment so they couldn’t get the alignment spot on…
Only work I’ve had on the front recently was new anti roll bar bushes.
Any ideas what could cause this and how to fix?
Thanks

Who did the alignment?

In my experience many alignment centres lack the knowledge, understanding, and sometimes the tools to do the job. Or, their equipment is not calibrated to the correct datum to begin with.

The general consensus tends to be that Hunter wheel alignment centres are the best suited for accurate D3/4 calibration.

Enter your post code here for your nearest Hunter centre. https://alignmycar.co.uk/search/

It is possible also that there is a bushing failure in the bottom arms, but you'd have thought the alignment centre would have spotted that given the difficulty they had calibrating it.

Thanks for the advice - it was done by my local tyre place so probably not the best. I’ve checked and there is a Hunter Wheel Alignment centre about 30 mins away so I’ll try them to see if they can help. Cheers.

Check all of your suspension bushes before you have the alignment done, it could be worn bushes thats taking the alignment to the maximum

Hi

Don’t know how far away u are from these guys , know some of the members have gone there including myself and they were fantastic and can’t recommend them enough , they spent ages getting it done just right , can’t recommend them enough as after it was like night and day of how nice it drove

Needed it as i had just replaced my rear upper arms , plus one side at the front the bolt wouldn’t move so they spent the time to adjust everything else so it was all within spec

Hope that helps

Thanks everyone.
I think aja4x4 might have hit the nail on the head as I have noticed a little knock when braking which I guess could be the front lower bushes - I was hoping it might be the rear anti roll bar bushes as that was an advisory at mot.
I’ll get it checked out before getting wheel alignment done - thanks for advice 👍🏼
