Unbelievable.
But as in the title. Looking at the paltry design, I'm sure I'm not the only one that this has happened to lol.
Can I get some advice please on repair.
I don't want a used replacement as that could do the same after a month. And, I don't want new as car is older and it would stick out like a sore thumb plus its economical to spend 150+
Can the case be drilled and a bolt put in to hold the broken pivot together and then covered with them ebay wing mirror wrap over plastic covers. Is this why they are available?
I can't get the casing apart on the broken wing mirror.
Any advice
Thanks

Cheers but I meant the actual wing mirror as an assembly - I can't see how to take apart.
The vid does show the 3rd party covers though which is handy.
