The problem I had was eventually pinpointed to a break in the heating element of the back window. Simple test is to put the radio on and the heated rear window, if there is static switch the heated window off to see if this stops the interfeence, if it doesn't there is a fault elsewhere. Loving the power of the TDV8!

I went to the stealer and talked to them about the tint used on my D3. I was told this was the same tint they have put on 100's of trucks with no issue. Sounds like there is something else causing my problems other than the tint.
They asked me to schedule a time to bring it in for a look.
Also, not to steal the thread, but the track at the stealers was open again today. Wow!!!!!!! Up a 40% concrete slope and back down another 43% slope.........I was very impressed. Glad I didn't get a ride on the track prior to negotiating! Picked up my new MY08 Stornaway TDV6 SE late Feb. FULLY STOKED! Thanks in advance for all the advice/tips you guys have shared on here!!!!!!!!!!!!
