HLDF CAN Bootloader Error

This problem can occur on vehicles with the Denso DVD-based touchscreen navigation system.
This includes:
- Discovery 3
- LR3
- Range Rover Sport up to and including 2009MY
- Range Rover L322 from 2006 to 2009 MY inclusive
The fix is to burn a DVD with the image of the YIA500010 service disc.

This process takes approximately 45 minutes. You should place the vehicle on charge to prevent low battery voltage corrupting the repair.
- Using the "Burn a disk image" process in your DVD burning software, use the YIA500010.iso file as the source and write to a blank DVD-R disc at as slow a write speed as possible.
- Turn ignition key to Position I. If the dashboard warning lights are on then this is Position II not Position I.
- Remove the navigation map DVD from the navigation computer. You may need to move the lock slider to the "unlocked" position. The nav computer is under the left hand front seat on the D3/LR3 and RRS and in the left hand boot panel for Range Rover L322.
- Insert the newly burnt service disc in the navigation computer.
- You should now see a progress bar on the navigation screen.
- The repair takes approximately 45 minutes - wait until it has finished.
- When the repair is finished remove the service disc and replace with the navigation map DVD. Move the lock slider to the "locked" position.
