It has become apparent that in certain extreme off-road situations, the front CV joint can fail. The situation when the joint is at risk is when the vehicle has become stuck, and the suspension has entered the "Extended Mode" of operation. If the steering is turned to full lock and power applied, it can cause the CV joint to break apart.
