12v Power Outlet to rear.

Well everyone,

In the LHS in the rear of my D3 commercial there appears to be a blank cap for a power outlet. has any1 on here done this mod? its just that i use a beacon for work & at the moment have to run the wire through the passenger door to the socket near ash-tray and if its raining water ingresses along the supply cable and destroys my passenger seat.

any help or comments welcomed! Thumbs Up

Australia

Hi irishrover, the D3 is by far one of the easiest vehicles I have ever worked on for running cable through from the engine bay to the rear cargo area so you should have no problems modifying yours

I’ve posted the instructions for one of my kits on the Australian AULRO web site.

The thread covers more than what you want to do so just pick through the instructions as most of the info you need is there.

Cheers.
