12v socket boot

Hi Guys,

trying to source a 12v permanent or ignition switched live in the boot.
My 2009 D4 doesn't have the socket, bit it did have the hole.
Got a socket second hand, but now looking to connect it.
Found this grey unused connector behind the trim, would that be of use ?

Looking at the picture you have tow bar electrics fitted? Is that just for trailer or full electrics as well? You can tee off the caravan electrics for that socket as it’s permanent live. If you have full electrics then coming off the small fuse box just behind the tail light is a good place.

It will be used to power a fridge, so ideally I'd like it to switch off with the ignition so it won't drain the battery.
Where can I find that fusebox you're talking about ?

The fuses are part of the towing harness, left hand cubby hole attached to the frame by the rear of the lights, looks light the circled in the attached.

If you only have a single tow socket to run trailer lights the the fuses won’t be there but the plug will be.

I think they did away with towbar fuses on D4
