When I saw it on paper I thought that anyone buying it would be brave, but the saw one out and about. At first I didn’t object to it, but my wife loved it, so….. I’ve lost count of the number of times that people (friends, family and complete strangers) have commented, and all of them saying words the effect of how lovely it is.

Not sure if it matters to you, but the rear locking diff is only an optional extra on the Graphite, and I think was unavailable on the Landmark, in case you were looking for a model with it.

its a cracking colour, i laughed at first thinking it was awful, but its really grown on me, there's a landmark near me in that colour and its has some special brown/tan leather in looks spot on.
I would go landmark just for residuals as other said, i would have had a white one but at the time a really nice grey and black one were at the dealers, i was keen for the black one but seeing them in the flesh the watimo (how ever you spell it) grey looked much better, really is a nice colour in certain lights it has a burnt colour to it, assume its the colour for the flakes in the metallic?

I have finally made a depsoit for a 2016 D4 Landmark. But found that the dealer (it's one of the main dealer) cannot provide a full service history of the car since 2019. The car has all MOT but no service hostory 2019-2022. The dealer claimed that it'll be alright as the car was clearly serviced in the said period as it has MOT, just the seller cannot locate the service invoice. Also, the dealer provide 2 year warranty to my purchase. they said re-selling won't be a problem as it's from them, a big and reputed dealer. Any comment?

Ask for the chassis number and check the LR online service history. If it has been serviced by LR accredited dealers (inc indys) then the service history will be there.

As said, get the vin and check the online service history,
If there is none then regardless of what they say, it will be a lot harder to sell on. No dealer or private buyer will pay top money for a car without full service history these days. Even if you went back to the dealer you are buying from they would use it as a reason to be very hard on the price.
Personally if they could not prove the service history I would be walking away

Also, as it’s a 16 plate, it will be due belts this year as it’s 7 years old so take that into account when purchasing as it’s not a cheap job

The dealer will tell you anything to get a sale
If you're paying main dealer prices, it needs to have a full main dealer history, every 12 months and on time 2003 Discovery 2 V8 GS

And if the dreaded crank shaft failure happens, you can bet that LR would use the lack of servicing in that period to wriggle out of paying out, I'd absolutely be walking away and finding another.

"It must've been serviced because it had an MOT"? They haven't got a clue what they're talking about.

Yep - that sounded like cobblers.
The only saving grace would have been if it did have online servicing history but the dealer didn't have invoices... MY16 Discovery 4 Landmark - Yulong White
