Before walking way, I would have asked to contact the previous owner or the garage that did the servicing. It may have been looked after.

Can’t you check the online service history of a JLR vehicle yourself without being the owner? 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Talking of missing service history... I just enquired with a non-LR main dealer in Leeds regarding a nice-looking Landmark they've got on Autotrader. There's a 60k-mile, 6-year gap with no documented service history at all, either online or paper. "But we promise it's been serviced properly, sir, even though we have absolutely no proof!". Believe that, and you'll believe anything

Asked thr dealer, they said the seller cannot locate the service invoices. But I think if they really have serviced the car in any indy, it's very easy to ask the garage to re-issue the record. BTW, indy can access LR website to update the service record.

As someone who spent months shopping around for my D4, it is quite common misconception that the "Landmark" was top tier spec. While it was certainly generously kitted out, it was basically a run out model (along with Graphite) to empty the parts bins. However, it was limited in many ways like color choice and did NOT have certain options available to it.
The HSE Lux was still around and had far higher choice of options and spec available to it. They were a bit rarer, as many seemed to just grab the Landmark for the kit it offered. But, like mine, I have the 2016MY HSE Lux with basically every option box ticked, including some that were not available on the Landmark. I'd take mine over the Landmark spec any day. 2016 D4 HSE Lux

Towards the very end of it's life the D4 was available new only in Landmark or Graphite guise and certainly on the Landmark model, the final spec. was down to the factory not the buyer to decide. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

I just swapped my fridge over.
My Landmark did come with a lot of options though:
20" diamond cut alloys
surround cameras
RSE
wade sensing
blindspot monitoring with proximity detection
TPMS
adaptive headlights
Privacy glass
heated steering wheel
Some of these maybe standard Landmark spec but either way there's not much missing MY16 Landmark - Yulong White

My Landmark didn't have a fridge either. So I rerofited it after buying a pretty nice clean item off ebay. Only takes a few minutes. The wiring is already there. MY16 Discovery 4 Landmark - Yulong White
