Now that was completely unnecessary -- you could've just said that you were out of town, and not rubbed Moz in our faces!
The 2010 version of Satnav is still "South Africa only", thus of almost no use! Don't know about 2011 though.

Hi Baben,
Hope the rest of your moz trip was good.
What sort of cost am I looking at for this upgrade?
I'm going to Botswana September so need to make a plan before this if possible?

Hello Noel
The upgrades are easy, but I don't get down to KZN very often
To be frank, and I know you don't want to hear this, unless I have other business, I can't justify the 1200km round trip.
Sorry boet, I wish there was someone with an MSV2 multi in KZN

Hi guys,
Does anyone know what the latest NAV software version is for RSA and what it retails for by any chance?

Hi Baden
Are you coming down to Cape Town some or other time. Need to activate my 4x4 info as well. What else can you do with that nifty machine of yours?

Sorry, my day job(s) are keeping me very busy at the moment, no plans for CT before November TBH.
The Faultmate can do the following:
D3 & RRS:
Read & clear fault codes
Suspension calibration (with or without height increase/decrease)
4x4 info screen & offroad navigation enable ("SE" model only)
3 flash turn signals
Use reverse lights for "Landrover" button on keyfob & follow-me-home
Daytime driving lights (great for dark cars)
Service Interval display (reminder of days and km remaining before next service)
Rain sensor sensitivity adjustment
Navigation input on the move
Bluetooth pairing issues
Software upgrades for multiple systems (compressor, telephone etc)
D4:
Voice activation
4x4 info display
Daytime Driving lights (LED's if installed)
what else I don't know yet
FFRR:
add flappy paddles (2010+)
digital speedo display
unlock on engine stop
alarm chirp
daytime LED's enable
dunno what else yet

Thanks for sorting me out boet! Loving my car that you blinged my cab.
Has there been any resolution on getting LED's to run as DRL's and not on full beams?
Your willingness to help everyone is awesome boet.....i still cant believe it man. You are one of the most helpful and humble guys i know! Keep it up chaana!
Just thought about it the other day....will LR give me hassels when i go in for my first service or do you reckon they wont even pick up that i have played with settings? gulp....worried about my warranty

I just happened to be sober when Gonster popped past
Gonster, the issues depend on the dealer. With the D3's we enabled 4x4 etc on, I can't recall anyone having any issue at all. All the dealer could do is return the vehicle to its "as built" status, but they couldn't be bothered most of the time
