Faultmate is back!
Almost 2 months after I sent it in. The delay was mostly DHL, by the way, although the easter holidays had an impact.
Just had a few software issues to resolve, and now it is running like a charm.
So, line up then

Heine, you have everything you need to do your nav on the move all by yourself.
I can pop round and giggle while you do it, but it'll cost you a couple of kaptein moroon's
BTW since my firmware reload, the faultmate is behaving really well. No comms issues at all.
I did manage to confuse Renier's D3 today though. Still don't have a clue what happened. Must be the flu muddlng my brain.

Hi all,
Just got my Disco3 yesterday (2005 Tdv6 SE - upgraded from Disco2) so the fun starts all over again.  First step is to activate all the "hidden" stuff on the screen - 4x4 info and change-navigation-while-in-motion and ideally the 3 turn indicator and service interval display. Who in the Cape Town area might be able to assist with activating this?

Welcome to the fold. I know Anthony sometimes makes trips down to Slaapstad , to do setups . He is away in France at the moment . I'm sure he will reply when he returns . Also speak to him about a remap

I've heard a rumour that the 4x4 info can only be enabled on a HSE, but on a SE I'll have to get an additional module installed to have the 4x4 info screen enabled. Any truth in this or do all SEs and HSEs from 2005 have this by default? (and just not enabled for whatever reason)

As long as you have the touch screen ..then it will work once enabled ..nothing else is required G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Great stuff. Tried enabling it with an Autologic system yesterday, but couldn't find a place to do so.  At least could enable to navigation-on-the-go. 2012 LR Discovery SDV6 SE
