There were some decent deals beng offered - Preston caravans seemed to be the best when looking at the Elddis we liked.

well gone and done it now - ordered Elddis Supreme 840 - delivery late Feb/early March
Was quite a tough decsision as our Bailey Olympus 620/6 is a great 'van but not many manufacturers doing this layout now.
And never had to wait 4 months for delivery, not even on any of my Disco's. Need to try and forget about it now until next year.

Ordered from Preston Caravans Russ - they were offering the best deal both in terms of what was in the 'van build (as its a dealer special, its has more than any of the other dealer builds and a lot more tha standard Elddis Avante 840) and the best (lowest) price to change.
I will try and use local mobile guy for servicing as Preston is a bit of a trek.

You won't be disappointed! We've had our 866 almost a year now and love it. Interior feels far more spacious compared to the old van. Can't really tell the extra width when towing except on narrow lanes. Had a particularly tight exit to a site in Devon during the summer, but took it steady and got out fine.
Don't know how much you'll use your mover, but we have to spin 360 degrees on our drive and wish we'd gone for the AWD version.

My Rib is around 2.70 m wide at the stern it gets interesting on narrow roads.
Is it legal to have that amount of side overhang beyond the width of trailer, not to mention the tail lights?A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.
