Hi guys
Update
I have now bought a gap tool and am waiting for it to be delivered it's a second hand one so I need to sort out what to do next ?
Any help in this matter would really be of great help
From what I can work out I need to
Register with Gap Done
Plug IID in to car (WHEN IT ARIVES) and get code that it displays on dash ?
Type that into the online Gap Diagnostics web site (logged in first of course)
Then ??
Any help from here PLEASE
Eddie

Hi Eddie,
I have just done this, basically purchase the transfer of ownership at £25.00 from the website.
Connect the tool to your car and get the unlock code from the IID Config menu, email that to support@gap-diagnostic.com (from the same email address you registered with) and they will send you an unlock code to enter into the tool.

Sorry the screen shot is so small I can’t make it out but I’m assuming you need the untested menu so you will need to email Pat and ask for access to the untested. I believe it’s restricted so that you can’t it up by accident. When you get access it cost nothing and you keep it but editing is obviously at your own risk.012MY RRS 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography (Current)

Send him a PM as he may not have posted it but I’m sure he told me he had this issue when I met up with him back in summer.012MY RRS 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography (Current)

Hi
It seems to be a small mined field on this subject
Can ony one answer why do my headlights not flash I.E when you pull the dip/high beam lever towards steering wheel
Like when you flash to say thank you to people or ok to go or ????
mine does not flash the high beam light comes on in the dash and you can hear a clonk like a relay but lights don't flash
yet when you have head lights on they do STRANGE !!!
But i did find this
its not that - its the MY14 light issue - lots of threads on about it and having to use relays to get round it - it has been rumoured by JAS Landrovers that they have fixed this via a CCF edit but aren't keen to share (even with a ££ offer) Evil or Very Mad Banging Head
Does any one know if this is true ? can it be fixed in the CCF files ??
Yours Eddie

yes, the JAS fix is a straight software patch into the CCF - it works but throws a lot of errors I've heard and can't be done via IID.

Some people have suggested this as a possible fix when face lifting to the MY14+ headlights, you may need to contact GAP to get access to the Untested CCF menu.
