Alpkit - Brukit Wolf
Got one of these this week & just tried it out in Clumber Park after a gentle potter round with one of my boys & his Xmas present. Really impressed with it - soon had a couple of mugs worth of boiling water for us

Looked at the JB's but couldn't see why they were any better for the money & read good reviews of the Brukit on here.
Just ordered a canister stand off eBay (thanks for the tip ), it felt stable today, but the gas canister is full at the moment & the D3 was parked on flat ground - better safe than sorry eh?

ISTR you can't put a frying pan on one. I bought one for a mate a year ago he loves it and I like my jetboil.DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

Had my JBs for 9 years now, going strong with a bit of repairs. Problem with the Alpkit stuff (for me) is they don't fit in the door pockets.

Brukit's are supplied with a pan ring now so you can put any sort of pan on top of them - not tried it yet, but will have to give it a go. Really wanted it as a water boiler anyway as I keep another stove in the NS boot hatch (where the detachable tow bar would be stored), just over the wheel arch along with a small pan set and a few bottles of water. Recon with a bit of jiggling stuff around I'll get the Brukit in there too.

Would someone make their mind up.
One minute jetboil is the dogs dangles, next it's something else.
I've got a jetboil but not used it in anger yet.

If only!! When i bought mine 9 years ago there was no Alpkit stuff. If they (gotta have 2 for cooking up a curry) were nicked tomorrow would look at the Alpkit stuff but mine live in the front door pockets so would have to find another home for them. Not a major issue though.
PS Anyone got a good purchasing link? Only problem with my JB is getting a low flame for a low rolling boil when cooking stuff, it needs to be on the verge of dying. AK might be better for that.
They also do the smaller Jackal, but is currently out of stockMark.

Saw that but wasn't looking for a bargain in the sales. Will prob just get a couple of replacement burners for my JB cups as they are as good as they were when new.
Only issue and it is a small issue is the JB fits in the front door card where the alpkit is slightly bigger although with the smaller jackel that might not be a problem but +1 for the alpkit plus just bought 6 500 canisters off amazon for £22 ready for icefest, where did ya get your stand from Greg seen some on amazon but unsure if they will fitGoodyear Duratracs
