| Has anybody remapped the 3.0 TDV6 D4? |
|
Hi,
I have been reading a lot of messages on this forum but I couldn't find anybody which has remapped the 3.0 TDV6 ECU. Apparently it's not an easy job as it was with the D3 and only few companies are doing it.
I have found superchip which is doing it not through a plug/play device but removing and programming the Ecu.
Please let me know about your thoughts

Thanks for your suggestions but I have already contacted Pete and he said that for the moment there is no remapping available for this engine.
However other companies are doing it, look for example at superchip (http://www.superchips.co.uk/search?make=17&model=73&fueltype=2&variant=2240)
Has anybody dealt with them?

Hi
Im sorry if I have set confusion here in a reply to you. Remapping is available and has been at BAS for nearly 3 years now. The process at this moment as with ALL companys currently offering tuning for this car DOES involve opening the ecu at lease one time to apply a patch.
