The car is at the dealer to mount the dryer to the compressor.
Today they called me, and listen: They have found that the compressor is working perfectly fine, but have to replace it anyway. The reason is that the black line with the red ring going from the dryer to the compressor, has detached from at the compressor side, and the garage are not able to re-fit it.
So they have to replace the whole thing, the compressor with lines and everything! Resonable??
I have read somewhere here in the forum that this connection is just a pull in-pull out connection. Or am I wrong? Is it an integrated part of the compressor??
P.S: My compressor is upgraded in 2006, i.e. new delivery valve, spring and exhaust valve.Land Rover - It Hurts So Good

The quick connect to the body of the compressor is part of the valve body. I don't know why they had to remove that end of the air line from the quick connect though.

This connection where detached/pulled out from the compressor when the dryer exploded. Now they're not able to reconnect it to the compressor.
