Battery Replacement - Left Over Connector!
Hi all,
Just replacing my battery in a 2016 D4, noticed this little fella hanging about!
Can’t see anywhere it might have come from, any ideas what it is and if it should have been connected?
Thanks!

It's for a transit relay, fitted at build, removed at PDI, if you're lucky, there may still be a blank receptacle taped to one of the harness' in that area for it to plug into. If not, don't worry about it, it has no function once the vehicle has been taken out of transit state.

Thanks! I spent ages looking for somewhere it could possibly have come from.
Can I just say this place has the most amazing support and advice/guidance I've ever encountered - I'm a new owner and it's quite incredible how fast you folks provide answers - removes so many worries!

Don’t forget to do a Battery Management System reset if you are able. (Using a OBD tool of some sort that has the facility).
It tells the system you’ve put in a new battery so it can reset charging requirements.Gary
