England 2016 Discovery 4 3.0 TDV6 Graphite LE Auto Java BlackDiscovery 4
Belts to be changed - anything else worth doing?

Car is an SDV6 2016 105,000 miles
I’m having my timing belt changed after Christmas, is there anything people would change/ extra work to be done, whilst my chosen inde mechanic is in there beavering away?

I'd probably change the oil pump too. Might have lost some performance in that time

Water pump, aux belt, have a good look at the rollers and tensioners. And +1 for the oil pump. It pays off to treat these ladies well, even though it can be a bit costly Mr. Green

I would change the oil pump.

I would also powerflush the gearbox & change the transmission oils.

Body earthing strap - seem to cause issues on older vehicles as they corrode. Mine on the service and MOT list for end of Feb.
