Hi, recently my 06 HSE with 35k miles has developed a bit of a smoking habit.
Under hard acceleration, from low speeds or out of a junction into traffic it emits a large puff of black smoke (noticeable in mirrors) it seems to drive OK though the power comes with a bit of jolt from a stand sometimes.
I havent noticed this before, (thats not to mean it wasnt doing it before )
Any ideas what the problem is, if any

Sounds normal, but excess smoke can be caused by failing EGR vales, collapsing turbo pipes, turbo on its way out.....
