Bluetooth

Hi All

I am a newbie, so will end up asking some dull questions in time, probably including this one.

Are all Disco3s bluetooth enabled, I have searched on here and havent found the answer to this question.

I have an 06 S, which has the phone button on the radio, but when trying to pair to it with various phones, no joy.

I had just about come to the conclusion that not all models are enabled. Even though the handbook gives you instructions on how to set it up.

Any clues?

Cheers

Hi , Not all cars come with bluetooth Sad

The factory fit kit has a holder under the center consul lid for various cradles.

The button on the stereo works with this kit only.

You can fit a retro LR bluetooth kit , that doesn't come with a cradle and only uses a limited bluetooth ( no numbers etc on the stereo)

If you car has any sort of LR bluethooth it will have at least these controls

Hi Pavs001, I posted a similar question a few days ago which I got a very helpful, concise answer to:

http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic21512.html

I've been in to my dealer since my original posting and they had a Parrot CK3100 in stock that they were able to show me. They reckon it fully integrates with the existing stereo and shows the number who's calling. You can also download your numbers to it and then use the wheel in the centre to scroll through your contacts and dial. The visible part of the unit is really neat and apparently it can be fitted to the dash without drilling or cutting any holes in your dash.

One link I found to a Parrot reseller is:

http://www.parrotshopping.com/uk/p_parrot_topviewed.aspx?f=203

This lists all the current UK models.

Whilst I was originally after the LR kit I now think this offers more features and is certainly alot cheaper!

Hope this helps.

Thanks both, I do have the controls on the steering wheel, but have also aquired the same Parrot kit, so will be getting that fitted shortly.
