Buccaneer schooner 2014 avtek stick aerial

Need a bit of help for my Dad
He's just got a buccaneer schooner and the dealer can't provide the book pack until next week
Problem is he's going away for a week on Monday and can't get the stick aerial to work, just getting no signal on screen
He is a veteran vaner so not daft
The box in the photo is flashing a red light all the time but I can't find anything on the net to give me clue what amp it is or what it is trying to tell us
I did download the handbook but nothing of any use in it
Elddis have stopped fitting the Avtek stick now I believe so could have had issues historical
Thanks
Phil

Sorry but is utter rubbish! We gave up and bought a satellite system.

The Avtec will only work in strong signal area.

Hi

Ive got the same van and the unit you show is for the remote control functions its not the arial booster the. Booster is the white svensen unit mounted above it

The red flashing light is the system looking for phone signal

Sim card fitted side, bottom left allows coms to your mobile to switch on heating etc. Nothing to do with the tv ( i never bothered to set mine up so thats the end of my knowledge.

Thanks for that bud, unfortunately Dad's gone away this morning for the week when he comes back I will give it another go
His splits next to the battery box low down on the Van floor
Nothing behind the CD player in that snakes nest of wires

my top tip

the water pressure switch is in a vulnerable position under the bed right next to the on board water tank (ive built a box round mine now)
very easy to load stuff on top and upset the water system settings

be warned Thumbs Up

Major update
After putting a DVD in the wrong way around and it being spat out the TV jumped into life and is working perfectly Rolling with laughter
I enjoyed reminding the daft old Censored that I thought it was the telly last weekend but was met at that time with it worked in the last van so it should work in this one Very Happy
Any way he's chuffed at the moment
Thanks for all the advise and tips guys
Phil
