Buxton CC site or NOT !
Off to Buxton next sunday for a short break so have been getting the van cleaned ready to go and the Disco is in for a service and Mot so hope to have a few beer tokens left for next week !

we stayed on a nice pitch and pointed the caravan away from the road. unfortunately when we came to leave, the motor mover just span the wheels in the gravel and we couldn't get out .
until I winched it out 8) , to the amazement of Harold and Hilda who had settled down in their reclining chairs with a cuppa tea to watch us struggle Duncan

Buxton site is closed due to the Snow so we are now heading South to Rookesbury Park in Fareham

Isn't there another site in or near to Buxton that's within a quarry that's supposed to be very good ? Or is it Uttoxeter ?On a mission to find the perfect Pork Pie. Just Found it (I think)..(Yes I have)

Clover Fields (a private site) is near a quarry and is a nice site, although adults only. The CC site at Uttoxeter is at the racecourse I think.
