What can the IID do for D3 MY06??
Afternoon folks. I’ve owned a few BMWs in the past and had a diagnostic program on a laptop that’s been very handy, however it’s BMW only.
I’ve been looking into the IID and it seems essential for someone like me that does the majority of work themselves.
However throughout my searches I can’t really find a list of things I can do for my vehicle! As far as I know you can read and clear codes, very handy, but what else?
So else can it do??
What would you recommend?

the cleaver stuff is
calibrate suspension
program keys
adjust or enable settings. (4x4 display on screen) somehow
can read fault codes for the whole car.
Yes I would recommend. It's custom made for the car

If I could wield the power of the mighty IID BT on my now dead D3 anyone can. It’s the biz.

It would be rude not to.
A couple of other major pluses, the customer support from GAP on these is second to none. It is seriously fantastic and puts the other players in this game to shame.
Plus there is a ready secondhand market for these so they are sold on pretty quickly for a fairly big chunk of the new price, should the buyer part ways with his D3/4.
