They should, mine do
What they have also started doing, since I changed the battery, is re-adjust themselves inward every once in a while.... any ideas?Dave

I've owned mine 3 years as well D4 Front upgrade/cut back wings n things 'taking a long time but getting there'.
D4 rear upgrade - Narpys helped with that bit

Disco Mikeys work - Serviced, EGR blanking and 4x4 software upgrade, 3 flash indicators.

i noticed when u have the lights on
if u put ur hand near the front light console there's like a very small light, which i assume helps u find the light switch in the dark
also the auto door lock feature

My mirrors adjust themselves every time I start up. I've tried resetting them but they have a mind of their own.

Every time that I lock my D4 and the mirrors will fold.
Anyone knows how to switch off this option? Don't want them constantly folding when car is locked.
don't find any option for that at the menus like in other cars.
It would be great if they wont fold if you press once the lock button, but they would fold if you press it twice.14 - SDV6 hse - black edition

Try to fold them manually and then unfold them using the switches.14 - SDV6 hse - black edition

Power fold mirrors.
I have been looking at the possibility of having the mirrors fold in and out when the doors are looked and unlocked.
There are a couple of options, buy a module on ebay from Erisin but after looking at this and how it works and how much wiring in involved have decided that the second option is much simpler.
The power fold works by sending a ground signal from the mirror adjustment switch, shorting of pins 4 and 8, to the folding control module. So, by giving the control module a signal from an alternative source this should achieve the desired effect keeping the functionality of the adjustment switch intact.
This could be done using a couple of relays, solid state or mechanical, one to take a pulse from the lock signal and one for a pulse from the unlock signal.
The relays could be installed in the door or drivers foot well and probably only require tapping into three wires.
As I work away a lot time at home is short but this will be my next modification so will be running some test next trip home.

edit: actually they do, hurrah!
having read up a little more, selecting the knob to centre position then pushing it down to the 6 o'clock position (not inwards as I was doing previously!) gives a satisfying buzz! Not such a Disco Newbie now!
