It's relatively easy to fit power fold mirrors. The wiring is there already. All that's needed is the power fold mirrors themselves, the control unit and possibly the switch. Although the switch could have the contents fitted already.Freelander SE 2005 Auto.

Just tried this... I had to line up the 2 dots then push UP and both mirrors folded in! Great! 08XS.

Would be great if they could be folded automatically when the cars locked from the remote

Power fold is great when driving off road between trees! or On road missing other vehicle mirrors in narrow lanes
As what LumberJackWhite says, the mirror "adjust" knob (what you use to adjust your mirrors with) press it downwards & your mirrors should fold in, press again to fold out
shot, tried to fit the D4 in our garage and had to get out to fold them manually.
Is there any way to make this automatic, e.g., when you switch off the vehicle?--

Concerning the power fold mirrors, I had these on my 04 HSE Freelander but the switch was intermittent so didn't always work. Those of you with older cars try the switch a few times in case its dirty through lack of use Dave
