I read this thread over a year ago and couldn't get my wing mirrors to fold in. Read the manual but just figured my D3 didn't have the powered mirrors installed.

So, just reread the thread - carefully this time - and went out to my car to try again.

Selected the mid position for the mirror selector. Pushed the button in first and then, still holding it in, pushed it down to the six o'clock position.

Mirrors folded in beautifully.

I have an 05 HSE and have tried every combination I can think of with the switch aside from breaking it off. I must not have mirrors that fold Big Cry

Hi
Finally had opportunity to try this today, and it worked brilliant. Bit of a faff holding switch in and pulling down at the same time whilst in the central dot position, but it works Very Happy
Has been bugging me as well until I found this thread and only owned the disco a week Confused

Can you sense a theme here? Laughing
Mind you the 2.25 Petrol Series II with Series III wings for quad headlights, high power alternator conversion and a few other bits and bobs does rather break the theme Laughing

Doesn't work on my 08 HSE which surprises me as the car has several options including the adaptive headlights.
In the fuse box behind the cubby there is a spot for a "mirror fold relay" which was missing. Bought one feom eBay and fitted with some difficulty but no joy. May take mirror off to see if the wiring is connected or not.
