I agree about the arm rests. I noticed that they sit below the cubby lid and that the cubby lid is high enough, and close enough, for me to use it as an arm rest quite happily. I would say that the cubby lid in the D5 is noticeably higher than in my RRS1 (and by extension, the D4). The D5's fold down arm rests are redundant (for me, at least). I would guess, however, that they are more useful for a smaller driver - I'm thinking women here, of course, as they tend to be closer to the wheel and thus the cubby lid will be too far back for them.

Hang on - the second row headrest makes the rear side window unusable. The C and D pillars are effectively one big pillar. The D5 in RM's earlier shot clearly shows that the view back is better because you can see through the window. Ergo, the D5 is better than the D4.

Shorter drivers could remove the headrests in the rear of the D4 when they’re not in use. D5 drivers can lower the headrests. A nice touch, but then it is more expensive that the D4 was.
How about a pic with the D5 headrests up? Or to save further embarrassment, just close the thread. Laughing
