Copper washers

I’m replacing the callipers on the front of a discovery 4, where the brake hose attaches to the back of the calliper there is currently copper washers in place. Are these supposed to be in place or has someone fit these afterwards? As I’ve tried locating new ones and the local Indy says landrover don’t even list these copper washers on their system. Anyone know where I could find said washers if they are supposed to be in place thanks

Yes they should be there.
A fresh copper seal is soft and compresses to form a leak proof joint.
They are similar to injector seal washers.
Measure them and get some off ebay.
Alternatively, place the washers on a wire and heat then till they glow and then immediately chuck into some cold water, the washers should now be soft again.
For brake unions I just reuse as is.

Try a motor factors for the crush washers, lots on ebay from bremtech and others, forum sponsors Advanced Factors probably has them. Might need new banjo bolts depending on how corroded they are.

From memory, the washers are supplied with the banjo bolt, not listed seperately.

ETA
They're listed separately for the rear brakes on the L322 - SYF000020 I'm reasonably certain they are the same size.

Advanced factors sell them. I changed a calliper last year and ordered new washers and slide bolts with them. Less than a quid for the washers.

I've recently replaced all four calipers on my D3. The banjo bolts didn't need changing but the copper crush washers are a must.

There's 8 in total and I got 10 for £5 delivered from a race supply place in Scotland.

Sizes on the D3 are M10 by 16mm o/d by 1mm thick.
 I see no ships........
