Diesel fuel pumping into the coolant system.
Hi all .. I'm looking for help / advice regarding at the title says fuel in my coolant .. I have changed the fuel cooler under the vehicle on the chassis in the driver side area .. drained and flushed the cooling system but still diesel is pumping into it making the system over flow and can watch the fuel needle drop as its running .
My next thought was the oil cooler that the oil filter screws onto in the middle of the engine V . But I'm not sure wether coolant and oil go to this unit or fuel could mix here .. as the engine oil is fine .
Or could it even mix inside the FBH .
Thankyou

Yes, in front of the Vee, you have the diesel return line 'leak off' and coolant heat exchanger.
If you got the car hot, with the coolant under pressure. Stop engine. (or pump up the coolant system if you have the tool). Then disconnect the fuel leak off pipe. Monitor for 15 mins and see if coolant starts to come out the fuel point.
