Ron,
That's a shame to hear....I am sure your mods have insprired more than a few on here - I remember seeing the D3 and thinking mine could do with looking like that !!

Your D4 is a beauty....I am toying with the idea of re-joining the oval, intially it was in a sub £20k D3 HSE if I could find a tidy low mileage one...there are a lot in fairness but I drove a D4 2 weeks ago Shocked good grief, it's as different as the D2-D3 I thought....so now I have convinced SWMBO that a D4 is the way forward I need to keep my xc90 another 12 months.....when the time comes if I can find a Fuji white XS half as nice as yours I'll be happy !

Mr. Green
D4 HSE....Probably, but not quite decided yet.

I retired last year, couldn't bare to get rid of my beloved D3, Smile I don't use as much fuel as you Ron so I am coping being on the basic pension. Cost me more to swap for a euro box. Neutral

Well, that's it ...... it's gone. Sad
Took the D4 to its new dealer in Rossendale today.
Feels a bit like when you've got to take your dog to the vet to have it put down.
Must say, I shed a tear ..... very sad day Crying or Very sad

Caravan also went today, that b*gger Tony (rescue01) came down this afternoon to take it away.
So all in all, a very life changing day. Neutral

Anyway life moves on, picking up the new 'eurosh!tbox' tomorrow.
So that's something to look forward to ......not. Rolling Eyes

But hey, I'm semi retiring Confused

You'll be back!

One way or another, the euro box will annoy you and you'll be back in either a D3 or another D4... Whistle

Yes, plan is to be back at some point...... maybe when I fully retire and won't be doing the mileage.
It's a very reluctant choice I had to make to give it up.
It's not like where others 'fancy a change' then come back when they realise what they've done.
I'm LR through & through and that's the only brand I want to be driving. Thumbs Up
