Yours was one of a couple on here that gave me both the inspiration & courage to buy my Fugi White D4. A brave choice of colour, but having had a look around the various galleries on here, I went for it & I'm damn glad I did, cracking colour 8)

On the side of keeping it he steepest depreciation curve should be behind you. Would you get a new car and have that to do again. Plus you have a good car for away days, caravan holidays and winter, all 5 days of it.
On the side if selling it, it's a big wedge of wonga tied up in a depreciating "asset" when a few grand would buy you a cheap & cheerful runaround. Plus LR maintenance is stupidly expensive, assuming it only needs scheduled servicing.
Had to face the same choice recently, whether to sell the D3 or BM, as just not doing the miles and a lot tied up in cars. As usual chickened out & keeping them both. Well what household of 2 peeps doesn't have 4 cars??

Can't believe what i'm reading Ron.
I know how much you care for your car.
Why not go back then to a well kept D3. Cut back on the insurance, do the service intervals yourself. That should bring the running costs down.

Ron I had to sell the D4 to pay for my divorce
Bought Gareths old D3 Hse and to be honest im more than happy.
Not as quick or good round the bends, but a bit more rugged and more suitable for my needs, all bought and paid for and I intend running it into the deck!
Pick a good un and its money well spent... to driving a bland euro skate....good luck "you cannot teach stupid people to do clever things"
